Food: crab burrito delicious Service: ok Ambience: there is a fan on the inside Best thing is you can order a didi ca share from there into town. And it is a short walk across the walkway after turning left out of the airport customs.

Located just over the pedestrian bridge to Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport is Tacon de Marlin, a second location of the Puerto Vallarta favorite for Burritos loaded with fresh Seafood and a lack of Rice. Frequently full at lunch time, an outdoor patio and air conditioned inside seating both available, guests are invited to choose from a concise menu averaging approximately 150 Pesos for a sizable portion easily able satiate most appetites. Made to order with casual pacing, the twenty-five minutes between ordering and receiving two Burritos bridged by a cup of Salad and Pickles, everything arrives nicely presented and from the griddled tortilla to Octopus, Marlin, Shrimp, Lettuce and Tomato each bite is dynamic in terms of both taste and texture.

This place is right across the airport and right below the foot bridge, making it an exceptionally easy place to eat before a flight. Consider it your last taco/burrito/whatever before you leave! It was recommended to us by one of our local uber drivers, and he said lots of people enjoy eating there. So, we departed our VRBO with enough time to make it to lunch and our flight. Please note that they take cash only but they do accept US dollars if you happened to have run out of pesos by the end of your trip. They have a conversion rate up on their wall. I got the shrimp burrito and my husband got the fish and shrimp burrito. Both were very good portions that left us decently full and not hungry at all on our 3.5 hour flight. The salsas here are delicious and i love the creamy red one with a bit of the spicier darker red one! Everything comes out FRESH and HOT and they do NOT skimp on the seafood. There was shrimp in every bite for me! And it was cool to see the history of the restaurant in all the decor. Service was friendly enough, and food came quickly. Highly recommend popping in here for an authentically delicious seafood meal.

Hello! Orange County, California Yelp Reviewer here. If you are looking for a quintessential burrito place that is unique to puerto Vallarta, then the chain restaurant, Tacó. De Marlin is a good spot to end and/or start off. Right off the puente (bridge) that connects to PVR airport is where Ubers and buses are allowed to pick up and drop off passengers--if you wanna avoid ridiculous taxi fares. What's at this spot too is Tacon De Marlin. It has decent air conditioning inside and will you off for a decent 500 MX or 30 USD equivalent which gave us 3 Marlin burritos and a Hamas. So my best guess is 120 pesos is good enough for filling burrito that's very tasty. The service isn't quick and they know some English but thats due to the fact that they are packed with people. We came here before our flight back home and still had an hour to spare.

Delicious and affordable unique seafood tacos and burritos, right by the rideshare / Uber / DiDi pickup spot for PVR intern airport. Quality: 5 Value: 5 Service: 4 Ambience: 2 Is this place fancy? No. Is the freeway and airport roaring by you right there, as you shove a delicious fried piece of fish in your mouth, precariously balanced on a broken plastic chair? Yes. Is it THE BEST smoked marlin burrito (maybe the only smoked marlin burrito) you ever eat? YES. Is it cash only / solo efectivo? Yes! Is it a little slow to get your order, especially if a swarm of new arrivals from the latest flight are taking up space? Yes. Do they actually have a fish al pastor? YES! Is it the best way to wait for a rideshare? YES! Will we come here every time we land at PVR? YES!

The indescribable beauty of life lies in experiences that bring us closer to the place, to the people that make our food and in some strange way, make us whole. And while this could sound like something from a Delta plane video, there is a lot more reality to such words when experiencing joints like Tacon de Marlin. Places like this are a reminder why grandma's food will always taste better. It's why getting a slice of pizza in New York is a quintessential life experience. And it is also the reason that Tacon de Marlin is a place that is near and dear to the heart of many travelers and locals in Puerta Vallarta. These experiences are interconnected to the hands of those that craft our meals in ways that are profoundly deep. Sure, there is a slightly discomforting giant Marlin hanging from the ceiling. Yet, the story of this place is one of romance, a couple who established the concept of a Tacon: a toasted tortilla filled with delicious seafood. Despite its visual resemblance to a burrito, this is a fundamentally different dish. The shell is uniquely crispy, more flavorful and the ingredients are special. The smoked Marlin with shrimp is the one to get, as without the shrimp, the Tacon can be slightly on the drier side. There is a reason for that combo being a top seller, so deviating may result in either a happy or unhappy surprise. The Pacifico beer is sitting in the corner fridge staring down the guests eager to water down this pocket of pleasure. The experience is made whole by tables that are somewhat communal, thus interacting with other diners is something that a visitor might want to consider, or not. In either case, Tacon de Marlin is a guaranteed moment of pleasure that is connected to its origin like no other.

Ended up going here twice, including after we checked our bags at the airport and walking over the pedestrian bridge. Both times we had combo burritos with octopus, shrimp and smoked Marlin. It's very very good.

Ana put in my order & pword para Tacón de Marlín, Aeropuerto Gustavo Ordaz, Vallarta, con vuelos directos hacia LA, whereI I'm headed after a 7 day playerazo en Puerto Vallarta. I will miss sol, mar, brisa, everything a good beach vacay should include. I passed on the zip lining jungle viaje & saw no reason to ride on a banana boat. I'm rested. I'm good to go. Staff always fun & friendly. The video this visit was vintage 50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson, playboy extrordinario, doing Candy Shop, featuring Olivia. Yes. I'm down. The staff was vibing on classic hip hop.I loved it all.
